Cheap Delta Flights to London: $349 TOTAL from NYC, $530 from LAX

If you want to go to London from now until April 12, check out Delta.com. They have all-in total roundtrip fares from $349 from NYC (April 1-3 for example, thanks to TPG reader Adam)) or $530 from Los Angeles. Not bad, since I’ve seen NY-LA coach fares for the same price recently. These fares are available from this weekend through April 12, so book soon if you want in – these deals generally don’t last long. Delta will allow you to cancel by midnight the following day, so if  you booked right now, you could cancel by 11:59pm Wednesday.

To scan for prices from your city, go to Delta.com -> Planning Tools -> Book a flight -> and then select the “My dates are flexible” box and choose flexible weekends or the +/- 3 day search.

Some other total roundtrip fares I see:
$443 from Miami
$586 from Seattle
$417 from Boston

    Nice! I’m still depressed about last months crazy fare sale. I had clicked pay for two tickets to barcelona for 230$ each from boston and it gave me an error saying my fare had sold out! I was pretty bummed I missed out last month.

    Brian great find on this. I gotta keep an eye on UA fares, I’ve been working on that account for status. I just priced a trip JFK -> LHR April 1 – 3 for $349.40 all in on Delta.

    I am looking into this, but it seems like the $349.40 you picked up on 4/1-4/3 is inexplicably cheaper than all the surrounding flights (which are $417.50 ai). Only thing I notice is that the $349 flight is KLM. Is there any way to search only those flights?

    UA had a lot of rock bottom flights last week. I managed to get from TUL-PHX for $129 RT! Gonna rack up some USAir miles.

    I have 142k sky pesos and wondering if it is worth getting to 150k with deal like this. Also wondering how much to buy upgrades for this fare

    Michael- It depends what you want to redeem for. Skypesos aren’t that bad- you can get to Asia for 120k and Europe for 100k pretty easily if you are flexible.

    These fares are not upgradeable and Delta is very strict about letting people in business class, so you have a 99% chance of flying in coach if you buy these fares- even if you are Diamond medallion your chance is still probably 95%

    I tried to book a route just like Adam’s (JFK-LHR with a long stop-over in AMS), and it priced out to $350.30 all inclusive. BUT, when you go to book it, it gives you an “unable to process” error. So, I got on with their online reservations telephone support and they are refusing to honor this rate, as well as another low rate I was able to dig up using AMS routings. What gives, Delta won’t honor its online prices! They are claiming this is an error and should be priced higher, as a stop-over.

    Like tPG said “these deals generally don’t last long.”
    I just checked the same itinerary I priced yesterday, today its $450.30. The lesson seems to be book the flight, then think about it (you have a day to cancel).

    tPG do either UA/CO or AA have similar 24 free flight cancellation policies?

    Ah, but the fares are not gone — I can still pull a few $350 LHR-AMS-JFK dates, but delta.com won’t let me book them. All of the AMS layover cause the website to reject the booking, and phone support won’t help make it happen.
