Just got the below email. Since I’m already over-subscribed with European travel, I am offering up my certificate code to someone who may be able to use it. Just comment below if you use it so someone else doesn’t waste their time. Also, if you’d like to donate yours for other people below (remember, it’s always good to build up a bank of travel karma) feel free to leave your codes in the comment section below. It technically says the owner must use it, but I have a hunch they will work for anyone. Let me know if that’s not the case and I’ll update this post.

    Hello Mr Points Guy,
We are traveling to Italy in September, returning in November (very costly). I have been trying to find out if you can use skymiles to upgrade to First class, but I have not found any site that gives me the information. Do you know if it is possible??

You have to buy a Y B or M fare, which are usually very expensive. Often just buying discount business class is cheaper than trying to upgrade. I’d call Delta to check availability and inquire on the exact rules before you buy an itinerary. Best of luck!

    Thanks, Have a great day!
