To celebrate the new Haneda routes (DTW/LAX), Delta is offering triple flown miles for BusinessElite and double flown miles for coach. And unlike past promos where only expensive coach fares qualified- any published coach fare is eligible; including L, U, T.
However, the promo does not give bonus MQMs- per the T&C:
“Bonus miles do not count toward Medallion® qualification or Million Milerâ„¢ status.”
Sign up here and fly from Feb 19, 2011 to May 31, 2011
Nice promo, but I’d be more excited if they were MQMs!
If you don’t want to buy a ticket, Delta has a ton of award space on the Haneda routes this spring. I may just splurge 120,000 miles to do Tokyo/Osaka Cherry Blossoms in April and use two free nights in a suite from the Hyatt credit card at the Park Hyatt Tokyo.
