I logged onto Facebook today and a friend had uploaded a picture of the new United livery with a caption “The new united livery is as confusing as it is ugly”.

I definitely agree with the confusing part- it’s basically a Continental plane, but with the wrong logo. I personally wouldn’t call it ugly (see Bolivian airline Aerosur for that), but I’m not overly as impressed.

What are your thoughts on the new Continental..err, I mean United livery?

Ugly, ugly, ugly. This is what happens when big egos take over common sense in a merger. The United branding was modern and beautiful. Continental was old and dusty and managed to transfer those values to the “new” airline. Not smart.
