I’ve been getting a lot of requests lately to help plan mileage runs. To be honest, I’m simply not an expert at finding the best routing/deals on revenue flights. Even when I “mileage run” I usually stay a night or two and make a mini-vacation out of it and I travel enough regularly to only do it once or twice a year max.
I haven’t used this service, but if you want expert help planning your mileage run, it may make sense to enlist the help of elitehelper.com. I hear good things about them and they can save you hundreds of dollars by maximizing your run. If you do enlist them, tell them I sent you and let me know how they did so I can update everyone in the future.
I am an expert at booking award tickets, so if you need help using your points or putting together a comprehensive points strategy, I’m your man.
Safe travels – only 10 more days of the elite qualifying year left!
