Marriott was the first of the major hotel chains to fire the 2011 promotion shot. While we don’t have many details, their official reps on Flyertalk today posted the following. While I am not a Marriott customer (I think their elite status is too weak for the amount of stays it requires), Marriott loyalists will be happy to know that there will indeed be another Megabonus in 2011.

“From February 1, 2011 through April 30, 2011, all Marriott Rewards members registered for this promotion will earn their own exclusive MegaBonus offer for qualifying stays made at over 3,400 participating Marriott properties around the world.

Registration opens on December 16, where you will be able to visit your own personalized MegaBonus page to receive your unique offer. All qualifying stays can be booked with the payment method/credit card of your choice (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, etc.)

You will also find FAQs and official terms & conditions included here. Please visit to learn more.”
