Not sure how long this will last or if it’ll even be honored, but I just booked an overnight flight+hotel package on expedia.ca from JFK-LAS on Delta for $27 TOTAL.

Want in on the deal? Go to expedia.ca
Choose flight+hotel.. make sure you search for only 1 person
Choose your city to LAS/NYC from now until Dec 31, 2010.

Choose a package (the cheaper the better)

Enter your information and when you get to the payment page, select the “I Have a Voucher” box at the top- its small, so make sure you enter it before you enter in any credit card info.

Type in SAVE300 and $300 should be taken off your package price.

    Good find- though it looks like an error in their system (there should be a minimum $600 before $300 is taken off). Good luck to you though- it would be amazing if they honored it!

    It says that it is Canadian Bookings only. Does that mean I have to have a Canadian mailing addy?

    How do the vouchers work? Should it show up automatically as a credit to my CC or debit card?

    It says it’s for Canadians only but it accepts the voucher and confirms for everyone. I have a confirmation email from expedia showing the voucher applied and confirming the final price. I’d put up a major fight if they try to charge me something different than the receipt and confirmation.

    There will be two pending transactions on your credit card- one from airline and one from expedia. They should both be adjusted and post as the purchase price once expedia applies the voucher.

    Oh man, when Expedia sorts out everything you are all screwed. It’s only valid for travel originating in CANADA.

    “Coupon is non-refundable, non-transferable and only available for transactions/travel originating in Canada. One coupon per person.

    Any portion of the package which is cancelled will make the coupon null and void and the full amount of the package will be charged to the credit card. “

    TEK- i find it very hard to believe that Expedia is going to charge people different prices than what they confirmed in their emails. If anything, they will give people an option to cancel the trip or pay a different price (and I even see a lot of people arguing against that, stating they had confirmations from Expedia for X price). Either way, I’m confident the risk of getting screwed is pretty low.

    Even though many people have had success, they have also done it with flights to and from locations not even mentioned in the terms, so the validity of these flights on Monday when more senior Expedia staff return to work could still be in question. Expedia is automated for the most part, so lots can happen on a weekend where no humans are watching.

    In any case, you have violated their terms, which I’m sure in the terms and conditions you probably agreed to but didn’t read would constitute you having to pay the full price once they catch wind of non-Canadians taking advantage of this discount.

    That said, I’m in Canada so I’m not worried, and I’ll be headed to Vegas for $50.

    Misty- all the offer stated when I booked yesterday was “Canadian bookings only”. To me, that means flights booked through expedia.ca, which is what I did. Expedia senior staff knows about this promo and just modified the terms to strengthen them to mean flights to/from Canada, so I assume any bookings from now on won’t be honored.
    FYI here are the T&Cs from yesterday
    Canadian bookings only. Book a flight + hotel package at an Expedia Special Rate hotel in Las Vegas, Cancun, Riviera Maya and Manhattan on http://www.expedia.ca from 12:00:01AM PT November 20, 2010 to 11:59:59 PM PT November 21, 2010 for travel between November 20, 2010 – December 31, 2010 and receive a C$300 discount on that booking off Expedia.ca’s current advertised prices for that flight + Expedia Special Rate hotel package.

    You guys are probably ok. I tried a test booking last night and it worked for a domestic US, but I didn’t complete because I couldn’t get everything organized (kids, etc). By this morning the code had been de-activated.
